Dietitian

If you are pregnant, or thinking about having a baby, you should see a prenatal dietitian. While eating well during pregnancy is obviously important, did you know the three months leading up to conception can be a key time to get essential nutrients that give your child the best start to life?

Our dietitian Sophie is a certified pregnancy and fertility dietitian. Sophie is here to help you improve your chances of falling pregnant, and through all stages of pregnancy and life.

Sophie also works with clients not in the “motherhood space”, such as people looking for advice on food intolerances, weight management, fuelling for sport, and understanding a healthy diet.

Advice is tailored to you because there are no ‘one size fits all’ recommendation. You will work together to articulate and understand your goals and create a plan of action to reach them.

  • This short, 15 minute consult can help answer questions about a specific pregnancy issue, whether it be constipation, nausea and vomiting, reflux or a run down on food safety, we’ve got you covered.

  • For those looking for dietetic advice not related to fertility or pregnancy.

  • If you have been trying to get pregnant for 12 months (or over 6 months if you are over 35), our dietitians can discuss ways to improve your fertility before and/or during assisted reproduction.

Our certified fertility dietitians can help with fertility by not only ensuring you have the appropriately tailored prenatal vitamins for your needs, but also looking at ways to improve your cycle regularity and both egg and womb health. This can improve the chance of pregnancy occurring before moving to IVF, but also improve the likelihood of IVF being successful.

  • A consult for those already pregnant, or thinking about becoming pregnant.

Once you are pregnant, our certified prenatal dietitians can help guide you through the many important nutrients and foods for your growing bub at the different stages of pregnancy and after the birth. They can give advice on how to deal with those pesky pregnancy side effects, and help to clarify any confusing advice being given by those not qualified in this space.
