SENIOR PHYSIOTHERAPIST

B. Physiotherapy

Grad. Cert. Pelvic Floor & Continence

I’m a senior physiotherapist with more than 20 years of clinical experience and a postgraduate certificate in pelvic floor rehabilitation.

I work exclusively in women's health, supporting women through pregnancy, birth preparation and postnatal recovery. I have a particular interest in helping women manage pelvic floor concerns including prolapse, bladder symptoms, pelvic girdle pain and return to exercise after having a baby.

My clinical areas of interest include:

β€’ Pregnancy-related aches and pains, including pelvic girdle pain

β€’ Birth preparation and antenatal pelvic floor assessments

β€’ Pelvic organ prolapse assessment and management

β€’ Pessary fitting and ongoing pessary management

β€’ Bladder symptoms, including urinary incontinence, urgency and overactive bladder

β€’ Postnatal recovery and return to exercise

β€’ Return to running after pregnancy

β€’ Diastasis rectus abdominis (abdominal separation)

β€’ Pelvic floor rehabilitation

My approach combines evidence-based care with practical strategies that fit into real life. Whether you're preparing for birth, navigating postpartum recovery or seeking support for pelvic floor concerns, my goal is to help you feel informed, confident and supported in your recovery.

Outside the clinic, I am a mother of three, the host of the Pregnancy, Birth & Recovery Podcast and founder of FitNest Mama, an online pregnancy and postnatal exercise platform designed to help women move safely and confidently through every stage of motherhood.
